'Get outta my pub!' Dean Wicks gets his marching orders in EastEnders

EastEnders’ Carter family are struggling to put a brave face on things with a karaoke night, but are pushed over the edge when Dean Wicks turns up.

Queen Vic landlord Mick (Danny Dyer) rallies his family together for a fun event at the pub to show that it is business as usual, but it takes a sour turn when an unwelcome guest arrives.

Mick found out at Christmas that his wife Linda (Kellie Bright) was raped by Dean Wicks, who he thought was his nephew, but is actually his brother.

While Linda is about to brave the police station to report the crime, Dean is the last person the Carters want to see, so when he walks into the pub to have a drink with Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) and Kim Fox (Tameka Empson), Mick immediately tries to throw him out.

Dean refuses to leave, but as mum Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) tries to drag him outside, how will Mick react – and why is Shirley so keen for him to leave?

All will be revealed on EastEnders in the episode that screens on BBC One on January 29.
