Christopher Biggins has confessed that he is too lazy to work in a soap opera. The 59-year-old I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! champ told Star magazine that he doesn't think he could cope with the constant filming and line learning involved in starring in a soap like EastEnders or Coronation Street. Biggins said: "You know, I don't think I could do it. They work so hard. I'm lazy now. They're all wonderful. I've got friends on EastEnders and on Coronation Street, too." Biggins' friend Barbara Windsor has apparently said she'd love him to star in EastEnders with her. While it seems he isn't keen to do that, the panto king thinks that Babs's career comeback playing Peggy Mitchell in the soap is inspirational. He said: "I worked with her after she was in all the Carry On... movies when she was a big West End star - and then her career went down a bit. She had a failed marriage, things weren't that great, and then suddenly, everything changed with EastEnders. "It was fantastic for her. And it's a great comeback. Like everybody in our business, we have our highs and our lows, and I think everybody deserves a chance."
