Move over bruvs - the Mitchell sisters are heading for Albert Square. Samantha Janus and Rita Simons have been signed up to play glamorous blondes Ronnie and Roxy, cousins of Phil and Grant. Samantha is familiar to audiences from her appearances in shows including Game On. Rita can take some TV tips from a famous relative - she is the niece of Apprentice tycoon Sir Alan Sugar. The duo arrive in EastEnders this summer to attend Phil's wedding, and are hiding a dark secret. Diederick Santer, the new boss of the BBC1 soap, said: "I hope viewers will delight in the sexy, dramatic excitement that they bring to the show. "They may be glamorous young women, but these girls are also Mitchells, and have all the strength of character and the unique moral code that this legendary name implies." Samantha, 34, said of her character, older sister Ronnie: "She's the more sensible and clever of the two, but she has a caustic tongue. "She won't trust anyone enough to let them get close to her, although all she really wants is to trust again. They are very, very loyal. She would kill for her sister. "It's an amazing opportunity for me. I can't wait to start causing lots of mischief." Dream Team star Rita, 29, said: "I've always watched EastEnders and it's been my dream to become part of the Mitchell family."
