Death is on the minds of Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack) and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) in EastEnders this week.
In Ronnie's case, a menacing wreath is laid outside her front door, and in Phil's, the realisation is sinking in that he's not long for this world if he carries on boozing.
Will the Mitchell cousins survive their traumatic situations?
After finding a drunk Phil busting up the kitchen, an angry Ronnie gives him a reality check…
She's stunned and consoles him when he breaks down and admits he doesn't want to die.
Soon afterwards, a mysterious figure lays a wreath outside Ronnie's front door with a note carrying the sinister message, 'RIP Ronnie Mitchell'. Does someone want her dead?
Later, Phil faces his demons and goes to a support group for alcoholics, but a face from the past prompts him to walk out before he even gets started. Will he turn back to the bottle despite knowing it's as deadly as a death sentence to him?
