Which tough guy does Davood Ghadami want to see get the call back to EastEnders?
EastEnders star Davood Ghadami has said he would like Ross Kemp and his Grant Mitchell alter-ego to return to Albert Square.
The 33-year-old actor, who plays market trader Kush Kazemi, said he would like to see the Mitchell brothers confront each other. Steve McFadden plays Grant’s elder brother Phil in the soap.

“I would love to see Grant come back. Grant would be amazing,” Davood said.
“If Grant came back, shook things up a bit, sorted Phil out a little bit, I’d love to see that. I think he’s (Ross Kemp) a great guy, he’s a lovely bloke. You never know what will happen.”
Ross, who made his debut on the BBC soap in February 1990, left the show in 1999. He returned for a guest appearance in 2005, before leaving again in 2006.
Davood said he is impressed by fans’ feedback about Kush.

“I really love playing Kush and the way the storyline has been developed is really lovely. I’m just proud to be part of [EastEnders],” he said.
“Kush is kind of an everyman but he’s an honest lad, and he gets himself into a couple of little scrapes which may cause him long-term issues.”
Davood added: “It’s nice to play someone in the market, which is where Walford's beating heart is, other than the Vic, and he interacts with people in the Square, and that’s what people like about him.”
EastEnders continues on BBC1, Monday, September 14, 8.00pm.
