Emmerdale video special: Jason Merrells says an emotional goodbye to the Macey madness

Declan Macey (Jason Merrells) has gone - and his departure has been such bittersweet sorrow.

Charity (Emma Atkins) is bitter because he’s dropped her right in it.

Megan (Gaynor Faye) is bitter because she’s lost her brother.

Sam (James Hooton) is bitter because he now knows the real reason he lost Rachel.

Debbie (Charley Webb) is bitter because her mum has been exposed as a horrendously wicked, selfish woman.

But seeing Declan serve rough justice on Charity has been a treat to watch.

“It’s been crazy good,” says Jason.

Yes, it has. We’re going to miss him.
