Emmerdale welcomes sexy new De Souza

Actress Emma Davies is set to join the cast of Emmerdale as sexy siren Anna De Souza, who's keen to stake her claim on the De Souza empire. Emma will arrive in the Dales in July, as the feisty daughter of local tycoon Donald De Souza, who immediately stirs up trouble in the village as she tries to get her hands on the family fortune. Turning up at Donald's birthday party, Anna is keen to re-build her relationship with her father - but an instant rivalry with Carl King to win Donald's respect means that her life in Emmerdale will not be an easy ride. Having trained at London's Corona Academy Stage School, Emma has appeared in many TV series including Heartbeat, Doctors and Cape Wrath. Of her new role, Emma said: "I'm so excited to be playing Anna and looking forward to joining the fantastic cast and getting stuck into some meaty storylines. "Anna is intelligent and feisty and intends to have fun making her mark on the Dales." Emmerdale's series producer Anita Turner said: "Anna is a really interesting character.
