Emmerdale's Kelvin Fletcher: 'Now Andy has to engineer the moment he kills Pete!' (VIDEO)

Emmerdale fans are still reeling from the shock revelation it was Ross who shot Robert outside The Woolpack a few weeks ago!

We caught up with Emmerdale stars Kelvin Fletcher and Ryan Hawley for their take on the surprise plot twist, in which grieving Andy made a secret pact with village bad boy Ross to have his hated brother, Robert, shot. But in exchange, Andy must now carry out his part of the deal and kill Ross's brother, Pete. Will he go through with it?

"Andy and Pete are friends, they work together," says Kelvin, who plays Andy. "In the past, Pete has been like a stepdad to Andy's children. But he has reluctantly made this agreement with Ross. So now it's just a matter of time of engineering the moment when Andy can do the dreaded deed..."

And while Robert's ex-lover Aaron is the prime suspect in the shooting, how long will it be before Robert discovers it was Andy who wanted him dead?

"There's certainly going to be more grief between the Sugden brothers," teases Ryan, who plays Robert. "The two brothers have an explosive past. So I think it's going to be very exciting!"

Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
