Emmerdale actress Gemma Atkinson has revealed her date with footballer Cristiano Ronaldo consisted of drinking tea and watching Only Fools And Horses.

The 31-year-old, who rose to fame in Channel 4's Hollyoaks, briefly dated the famous Real Madrid player a couple of years ago.

She told Manchester radio station Key 2013 that her first date with Ronaldo was 'really, really glamorous'.

“We just went to my house and drank cups of tea and watched Only Fools And Horses,” she explained.

“Genuinely. I don’t know if he’s into it now, but it was on the telly. Only Fools And Horses and cups of tea, he seemed to enjoy it then, but I’m going back about six/seven years.”

She is currently on screen playing Carly Hope in Emmerdale.

She was previously engaged to former Premier League striker Marcus Bent, but is how dating rugby player and personal trainer Olly Foster.
