Emmerdale star Sian Reese-Williams has revealed her close working relationship with co-star Lesley Dunlop - aka Brenda Walker - as they film their latest scenes together.
Sian, who plays Brenda's daugher Gennie, has worked with Lesley on the soap for some time but the pair are currently facing their most serious storyline yet after Brenda was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
And Sian said it had given them the opportunity to face new challenges together.
"Even though we play mother and daughter, we've never really had a storyline to sink our teeth into together," she said.
"It's quite challenging stuff, but it's also very interesting."
She also praised her co-star, saying: "Lesley is an excellent actress and I've learned lots from her, because she's been doing this since she was in the womb!
"She's become a really, really good friend and I love spending time with her, so it's good to spend a lot of time at work at the moment. She's a very funny lady."
