When Belle Dingle gets accidentally knocked to the ground, Charity insists it's the perfect opportunity to fake a miscarriage. Will Belle go through with it?
Belle Dingle is drowning in her web of lies having pretended to Bailey she's expecting his baby to stop him moving abroad. Charity insists her best option is to pretend she's had a miscarriage, but Belle is wracked with guilt at the prospect.
However, when she's accidentally mown down by Tracy, who's enjoying a crazy shopping trolley race with David, it suddenly seems like fate has intervened and handed her the ideal opportunity to pretend she's lost the baby. What will Belle do?
Charity insists Belle should go to hosptial and pretend she's lost the baby, but tormented Belle is not so sure....
Earlier in the week Charity whisks Belle away to a spa to try and give her some breathing space and keep her away from village gossip and Bailey. However Belle proceeds to get incredibly drunk and the pair get a shock when Lisa suprises them by turning up too!
Later on and back in the village, Tracy and David decide to race eachother down a hill in shopping trolleys!
But when Tracy accidentally lets go of her trolley it goes ploughing into a distracted Belle.
The troubled Dingle is sent flying to the ground and lands with a thud. As Belle lies on the roadside, Charity whispers in her ear, this is the perfect time to fake a miscarriage.
Charity makes a big show of checking Belle is ok and insists she should go straight to hospial to be checked over.
Belle waits anxiously at the hospital, bracing herself to have a scan.
But she's shocked to also see Bailey and his wife Angie there and feels dreadful when Angie confides she and Bailey also suffered from miscarriages during their marriage.
Will Belle really go through with her plan to pretend to Bailey she's lost their baby and break his heart all over again? Or will she come up with an even more desperate plan? Watch Emmerdale on ITV from Monday 18 July.
