It’s another busy shift for the staff of St George’s A&E department in south London.

A 28-year-old woman, Xintong (pictured above), is brought in after being flung from a go-kart at high speed.

The doctors are concerned she has damaged her spine so rush her to the CT scanner.

As Xintong receives her urgent treatment, her fiancé, Deon, talks sweetly about their relationship, how they met and stayed together while living miles apart when she returned home to China.
