Animal lover Paul O'Grady is back in Battersea to meet a new pack of deserving dogs

Last year was billed as the final series, but somehow we knew Paul O'Grady wouldn’t manage to stay away from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home for long – who was he kidding?!

He's back tonight with more adorable doggies looking for new homes, including the delightful Tintin – the world's most energetic Yorkshire Terrier – and Lydia, a hairy Hungarian Puli who’s struggling to stay cool in the summer heat.

But it's shy Spencer the beagle who has the job of breaking our hearts this week. The poor boy is too timid to come out of his kennel, and has a horrible virus to boot. Will Spencer get his happy ending?
