An assassin (Nicolas Cage) arrives in Bangkok to execute four contracts before he retires.
However, there are the usual complications for him to deal with when he lets his guard down and starts questioning his solitary lifestyle.
Despite the serviceable plot, big budget and the great-looking locations, the sibling directors of the 1999 Thai original, Oxide Pang Chun and Danny Pang, fail to whip up quite enough excitement or coherence this time round.
However, they do turn in a flashy, sometimes very stylish, and always entirely competent action thriller crowdpleaser.
