Wedding bells at the Solana as the sunny comedy returns

Wedding bells at the Solana as the sunny comedy returns.

Back for a special 10th series, Benidorm kicks off with a big day for one of its unlucky-in-love regulars.

Solana manager Joyce Temple-Savage (Sherrie Hewson) is set to wed longtime admirer Monty (John Challis) in a beautiful, island-set ceremony, but after Monty makes a royal mess of things, will the blushing bride still say ‘I do’?

Poor Joyce is almost upstaged by bridesmaid Lesley (Tim Healy), too, and Mateo (Jake Canuso) delivers the most insulting Best Man’s speech we’ve ever heard!

Later in the series look out for a cameo from former Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley, and Nigel Havers as dodgy dentist Stanley Keen. An outrageously funny start.
