An experiment to find out how the body clock affects health

Scientist Ella Al-Shamahi locks volunteer Aldo Kane, a former commando and all-round tough guy, in an abandoned nuclear bunker.

He’s completely alone, with no natural light or devices that tell the time. The aim is to study Aldo’s internal body clock.

With no idea what time it really is, how will his body react? Ella also studies two couples who are struggling with their sleep patterns.

Aldo Kane - spends 10 days in solitary in the name of science

Can she use the latest scientific research and information about their individual body clocks to improve their lives?

An incredibly interesting experiment, but poor Aldo – 10 days in a dark bunker is no fun.
