Casualty spoilers: The BBC medical drama has been benched this weekend
Don’t [penalty] shoot the messenger, but we’ve some sad news for Casualty fans this week. The long-running medical drama is on the subs bench, as BBC1 is showing the FA Cup Quarter final on 16 March between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United.
Surely it can’t be as exciting as the recent Casualty/Holby City crossover, when star players Connie Beauchamp and Jac Naylor had a major showdown?
It’s only a short interval, as Casualty returns as normal to BBC1 next Saturday with favourites Cathy Shipton as Duffy, Derek Thompson as Charlie Fairhead, Amanda Mealing as Connie, William Beck as Dylan Keogh, a new doctor called Archie Hudson, played by exciting new TV talent Genesis Lynea, and some match fit guest stars…
