The Irish comedy series set in the 1980s returns with Bridget and Eamon sick of their old friends almost as much as they're sick of each other
The Irish comedy series set in the 1980s returns with Bridget (Jennifer Zamparelli) and Eamon (Bernard O'Shea) sick of their old friends almost as much as they're sick of each other.
So naturally when a new American couple arrive in their backwater, they're all over them like a Sergio Tacchini track suit.
Friendly, loaded and each with a mouth nearly as big as their hair, Mikey and Barbara are everything that Bridget and Eamon are not.
Drinks are soon flowing, and so are the laughs, in this very funny comedy that somehow mixes the cultural cringe of Father Ted with the 'eejit' goings-on of Mrs Brown's Boys.
