Life is good with Cal Knight. He’s in a good place, feeling more mature and very happy now his relationship with his brother, Ethan, has been repaired after he stole £15, 000 from him. But all that changes in this week’s Casualty and the red button special that follows afterwards…

Cal’s on the verge of asking a girl out when a blast from the past ruins his plans - the surprise return of Cal’s ex, con-woman Taylor (HollyoaksSarah Jayne Dunn).

Taylor conned Cal into stealing Ethan’s inheritance money before she disappeared with it earlier this year, and he thought he’d seen the last of her. So when she turns up with a baby girl, claiming the child is Cal’s, he’s thrown into turmoil!

Elsewhere, Lily is distressed after a phone call from her family, which leaves her tearful. Alicia notices the normally focused doctor is distracted during their shift together and tries, but fails, to get Lily to open up. Connie takes Lily aside to find out what’s wrong, and Lily reveals her father has died, before bursting into tears.

Also this week, Dylan is determined to prove his worth to Connie so he can stop treating minor ailments. With the assistance of sidekick nurse, Lofty, Dylan helps an abused wife to open up and convinces Connie she can trust him.

Rita and Iain can’t week their hands off each other, but are determined to keep their budding relationship a secret from their co-workers. Though Zoe figures it out!

Dixie is devastated when she's turned down by the adoption board, and decides to keep their decision to herself...

And Connie pays injured nurse Jacob a visit. But fails to admit her growing feelings for him.
