Look who’s back – it’s Dr Sam Nicholls (Charlotte Salt), but not as we know her. She’s working as a paramedic now and she’s no longer married to Tom.
Sam reluctantly finds herself back in Holby, face-to-face with her ex-husband Dylan and former lover Iain.
In short, it’s complicated! Sam’s as strong-willed as ever, though, and within ten minutes she manages to commit a major faux pas.
Watch out for guest star Roberta Taylor – and the surprise return of an old friend…
