Dr Will Noble witnesses Connie’s addiction first hand… will the explosive truth be exposed?
Warning: Contains spoilers about Casualty favourites Connie Beauchamp, Charlie Fairhead, Archie Hudson, Will Noble, David Hide, and many more!
Connie caught in a trap?
It’s a good thing clinical lead Connie Beauchamp has two faces at the moment… She needs both of them to watch her back, as the net closes in!
After betraying dear friend Duffy Fairhead last week, this week Connie struggles to conceal her escalating addiction to diazepam and crippling post-traumatic stress disorder, as those around her realise something is seriously wrong…
Connie finds herself in need of all her cunning as trouble-shooter Ciaran Coulson (Rick Warden) comes up with a crafty plan to apply more pressure in the hope she will crack and he can finally prove her guilt.
Meanwhile, doctor Archie Hudson (Genesis Lynea) continues to try and recruit doctor Will Noble as an ally, but he refuses to take sides. Later, however, Will (Jack Nolan) catches Connie necking pills when he pops into her office with a report… Shocked, will he blow the whistle on his mentor?
Charlie’s in a foul mood following Duffy’s departure and struggling to keep his temper with staff and patients.
He feels he’s let his wife down, while also worrying about their future now he believes her dementia has drastically worsened following Connie’s manipulations last week.
How will he react if he discovers Connie, who he thinks of as a daughter, deviously blamed his ill wife for a near-fatal mistake in Resus, cruelly ending her long career in disgrace?
All is not lost, however... David Hide stages an unconventional intervention with boss Charlie… We can’t reveal what, but are happy to hint that it involves his fabled bumbag!
Will Charlie open up to kind-hearted David?
Also in Casualty this week…
Junior nurse Jade Lovall lays it on thick when she poses as co-worker Marty Kirkby’s girlfriend at a family do!
When Marty’s mum Bibi (EastEnders’ Badria Timimi) collapses at the party and is rushed to the ED, will the young nurse admit he’s gay to his parents?
Meanwhile, Robyn is unwittingly being used by Connie to collect false diazepam prescriptions.
And Ciaran believes he can finally catch Connie in her web of lies…
