New doctor Will Noble keeps Connie on her toes in Casualty – will she show him the door?
It takes a brave person to cross clinical lead Connie Beauchamp, but that’s exactly what new doctor Will Noble does in this week’s Casualty – on the day he’s interviewing for a permanent position! Meanwhile, Elle and Rash both consider their future at the ED, and Duffy struggles to work with Charlie…

Will gambles with his future
The day of interviews for the vacant ED consultancy post has arrived, and competitive new doctors Archie Hudson and Will Noble are desperate to impress clinical lead Connie Beauchamp.
As part of the interview process Connie ruthlessly assesses their every move during the shift. But when the time comes for the formal interviews, Will is nowhere to be seen!
Until now charmer Will was Connie’s preferred candidate. Archie, however, has argued with Connie, lied about her last job, and already has an official patient complaint lodged against her! Will’s a shoe-in for the position, until he decides not to attend his interview. Connie is furious and Archie is confused. Has Will blown his chances?
Rash’s plans dashed?
Junior doctor Rash Masum is consumed with the idea of going travelling. But with girlfriend Gem Dean supporting her brother, Iain, through a difficult time, Rash resigns himself to staying in Holby, living at home with his parents and facing six more years of medical training.
This week Rash (Neet Mohan) is alarmed when his mum, Madia, is brought into the ED with chest pains. While Elle is treating Madia (Buckso Dhillon-Woolley), Rash dedicates himself to a patient who’s lifestyle holds a mirror up to his own. With emotions close to the surface, Rash makes a life-changing decision about his future…
