What could be more relaxing than spending several days cruising down France’s idyllic waterways in a modern barge?

Lots of things, as it turns out… Gardener Diarmuid Gavin, Olympian Tessa Sanderson, crooner Tony Christie, presenter Penny Smith and actor Tom Conti are the stars of the latest Celebrity 5 Go… series and they’re soon crashing their barges and getting stuck on the banks while negotiating the River Lot’s many locks.

They do manage to find time to take in the stunning French countryside, though, including a visit to the beautiful town of Cahors and its secret medieval gardens.
