Back on solid ground, he explores the looming Rievaulx Abbey, before moving on to Ampleforth Abbey, where he visits Ampleforth’s orchard of heritage varieties.

Working the land is a bit of a theme this week, as Tony’s journey takes him to wheat fields, a sawmill and a herb farm.
