Clare Balding presents the highlight of the canine calendar.

Calling all dog-lovers: the annual extravaganza is back! This afternoon, Clare Balding heads the presenting team as she joins fellow pooch-nut Alan Carr for a look ahead to tomorrow’s opening day of action.

The pair will be following all the events from the NEC every afternoon, while each night there’ll be live coverage on More4 and C4 from the hotly-contested group rounds, before Best in Show is announced on Sunday.

Noel Fitzpatrick (The Supervet) is on hand to meet some of the lovely dogs taking part, while there’s all the usual fun from the Agility and Flyball contests, expert advice, and some very special dogs and owners receive well-deserved awards.
