Taking in the stunning views aboard the Amadara is a serene experience, but before she can get on the boat Jane has to contend with the hectic port of Ho Chi Minh City – although she does manage to fit in some retail therapy, Vietnam style, in the famous markets (handmade shoes while you wait, for a fiver!).
Crossing into Cambodia, which is embracing tourism after years of being a no-go area, game Jane samples the local delicacies, including some rather crunchy creepy-crawlies!
