Denise is determined to help Jordan

When Patrick decides to move back in with Denise, Kim and Claudette see Denise with him in a bid to raise her spirits. After a surprise visit from the police, Denise learns that Jordan was taken to hospital but discharged himself. Unwilling to leave Jordan all alone, Denise tracks him down to a flat where she finds him badly beaten. Finally confessing the whole truth, Jordan reveals he owes money to drug dealers because of his ex-girlfriend. A concerned Denise brings Jordan - and his stepson JJ - back to the Square.

Abi's been working with Babe in the pub and confesses that Ben didn't come home the night before. Determined to help, Babe speaks to Kathy on Abi's behalf, encouraging Kathy to warn Paul off Ben. Learning that Ben wasn't with Paul, Kathy apologises. Although Abi and Babe think the problem is sorted, Ben confesses to Kathy he knows he has to let Abi go...

Martin visits Stacey but doesn't take Lily and Arthur, despite being worried that she'll be upset. When Stacey reveals sadly that she doesn't want the kids to see her in hospital, Martin is even more determined to get her a place in a mother and baby unit. After losing out on a place, an exhausted Martin struggles to cope with supporting Stacey and the kids.

Also, Lee gets a trial at the same pub as Nancy.
