When she was 18, Chloe from Warwickshire was diagnosed with mastocytosis, a rare genetic disorder that means she requires constant access to oxygen, must be fed through a tube in her chest and is prone to seizures. The diagnosis has been tough for her whole family, and the design of their house makes daily life even more difficult.

Nick Knowles and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, along with hundreds of volunteers, want to future-proof the family home to ensure Chloe can carry on living there – but an entire redesign is required. Will the team be able to give Chloe the independence she so desperately needs?
