It's the morning after the night before and there are sore heads all round. Nathan and Selena have a near miss in the car park but after his outburst about her abortion at last night's party, she has no interest in him helping out with the insurance. Meanwhile, Cyd and Greg arrive at the scene where a newborn baby has just been rescued from a mechanical dustcart and rush him back to casualty. Binman Steve is also brought in with severe injuries after being crushed in the rescue. Cyd, distraught by memories of her own backstreet abortion, turns to Dixie for comfort. Later in resus, Stitch, Maggie, and Abs struggle to save Steve. Selena diagnoses a teenage patient, Julie, with a post-partum haemorrhage and, putting two and two together, is keen to reunite Julie with the newborn baby. Initially reluctant, Julie eventually decides to go to see him. Later, Selena goes to visit the baby, who's been named Steve. When Nathan walks by and notices Selena sobbing and holding her tummy, he turns and walks away. A bemused Guppy finds Nadia's bra in Stitch's jacket and ends up confessing to ladies' man Stitch that he's a virgin. Later, Guppy ends up on a date in a bar with a medical student after Stitch plays Cupid. Before leaving to chat up his own prey, Stitch slips Guppy some condoms.
