The business-minded Dragons are back for new series, with a new face to add to the team. Will she be breathing fire?

Dragons’ Den returns for a 17th series with new recruit Sara Davies.

Strike a pose: Sara fits right in

Sara was studying at the University of York when Dragons’ Den began on BBC2 in 2005, and she enjoyed watching the show with fellow students on her business degree course.

"People said, 'You’d make an awesome Dragon," ’ Sara told TV Times.

"I laughed it off, but I did secretly aspire to be on the show…"

Was she nervous when first joined? "On the first day, I went in early to have a look around the set and that’s when it hit me that it was really happening.

"I’ve been a critic of other Dragons in the past, but it’s one thing to sit at home thinking I could do better, and quite another thing to sit in that chair."

But how will new-recruit Sara deal with an entrepreneur and his germ-free toilet brush? Will Sara poo-poo the idea or will said chap be flushed with success?
