EastEnders Stacey Fowler feels bad for starting another row with hubby Martin Fowler over his determination to get her to make up with her cousin Kat Moon. After some advice from best mate Ruby Allen, she tells Martin she’s going to arrange a romantic meal to apologise for giving him a hard time.

Stacey visits her ex Max Branning to give him some advice over his recent problems. When he cuts himself on a broken picture frame, she’s concerned. After a stressed out Max breaks down on her, Stacey ignores Martin’s calls to help him out. With Max calmer, Stacey finally speaks to Martin, who is surprisingly understanding that she’s stood him up to help Max. As Max makes a stunning confession to Stacey, Martin is outside, glaring at Max’s house. It seems like he’s not as chilled about Stacey spending time with Max as he’s making out…

Shirley Carter tells son Mick Carter and his wife Linda Carter that she’s quitting her job at The Vic. Linda can barely contain her delight that she won’t have to work side-by-side with her difficult mother-in-law any longer! Shirley reassures Mick that she’s not getting herself into any trouble. But he’s still concerned about the business and warns his mum to keep any dodgy deals away from his pub.
