This is a fabulously entertaining series, but putting it into a category is a bit of a struggle. That's because it follows stand-up/actor Nick Helm on a sort of foodie journey – eating here, interviewing chefs and the odd celebrity there, and then also trying to fix a relationship with a girlfriend who’s gone cool on him.

Some of it is real (the food/chefs), some is 'showbiz real' (the celebs), and the girlfriend bit is entirely made up.

He kicks things off in his own manor, Islington, London, and, as well as meeting Bob Mortimer, learns how to cook bánh xèo, a Vietnamese pancake that looks ridiculously tasty.
