The remaining designers could be forgiven for feeling a bit fraught as the contest reaches the quarter-finals.

Tonight, the first two quarter-finalists find their resources doubled – a budget of £2,000 and a bigger team – but there's also twice as much work to do in the same time.

Given 48 hours over three days, they have two rooms each to make over, one of which is to be completed by the end of day two!
