Hanssen's back at Holby!

Now that Guy Self has stepped down as Holby CEO to focus on surgical duties, everyone on AAU seems to think Serena will be the next CEO. When board member Angus turns up to discuss the future of Holby with Serena the two are involved in a minor slip-up and Angus finds himself needing treatment. Under the influence of painkillers, an uninhibited Angus not only confesses that Serena has been rejected by the board for the position of CEO – but that he’d like to take her on a date! When Serena realises Guy has been trying to install a CEO who will give him free reign, she plots her revenge and later meets with a tall, shadowy figure outside the hospital – Henrik Hanssen is back!

Meanwhile, Mo's decided to contact her estranged birth father, Clifford. Not wanting him to find out she's his daughter, Mo's written to Clifford pretending to need his help with some medical research. She's taken by surprise, though, when Clifford turns up unannounced at the hospital. Mo doesn't want anyone to know Clifford's there - but then Adele catches Clifford scamming a free meal and discovers who he is, but vows to keep Mo’s secret. Later, when Clifford finds a file Mo's created on him with details about his life for her own personal interest, he’s confused and suspicious so walks out. Mo chases after him and admits she's his daughter, hoping Clifford won’t walk out on her for a second time…

Also, after spending the day dealing with a tricky neuro case, Zosia finds Annabelle pondering a brain scan, seemingly identical to the day’s patient. But it turns out the scan belongs to Annabelle...
