A range of programming to mark Holocaust Memorial Day. C4 is showing Holocaust: The Revenge Plot (9.00pm), a documentary about a plan by a group of Holocaust survivors, known as the Avengers, to kill six million Germans by poisoning the water supply.

Their mission was to avenge the six million Jews killed by the Nazis, and is revealed by previously unheard tapes and interviews with the surviving Avengers.

On History is Surviving Auschwitz: Prisoner 84303 (9.00pm), the story of Zigi Shipper, sent to Auschwitz-Birkenau at the age of 14.

Also, BBC2 has the 1959 film The Diary of Anne Frank (1.30pm), while Sky Cinema Select has The Zookeeper’s Wife (5.50pm) and Schindler’s List (8.00pm).
