It’s 350 years since the Great Fire of London, and who better to mark it than the Horrible Histories team? (Adults who have yet to figure out that this is the most entertaining and stress-free way to learn about the past should tune in.)

A roving reporter has breaking news on the fire ('Your Highness, your wig is smoking,' she says to the Duke of York. 'Thank you very much,' he beams proudly), and there's a Great Fire Bake Off  with Thomas Farriner, the baker responsible for starting the blaze.

Guess who overcooks their signature bake… Finally, there's the obligatory boy-band song, performed by Sir Christopher Wren (Robert Webb), Samuel Pepys and Roberts Boyle and Hooke as they Build This Town Again. Smoking, indeed.
