Joanna Lumley’s India
This week Joanna Lumley takes in Mumbai, Rajasthan and the Ellora Caves
The absolutely fabulous Joanna Lumley continues her journey around India, the country where she was born, in this deeply personal travelogue.
In tonight’s episode, Joanna begins her travels in Mumbai, before heading through the western state of Gujarat and on to exotic Rajasthan.
Along the way, Joanna visits the Times of India newspaper offices, where her uncle Ivor was the last British editor 70 years ago.
She also explores the beautiful Ellora Caves, a World Heritage Site.
Joanna also learns more about Hindu customs and traditions, and meets the Raika people who’ve made their living from camels for over six centuries. As always, a fun and informative watch.
