Liam won't let Bianca in the interview room with him as he's questioned, leaving her heartbroken. When Liam is bailed, he escapes Bianca to speak to Kane. Meanwhile, Ava gets a note that says 'RIP Teach'. Dexter warns Ava they need to leave the estate, but Ava refuses. When Liam tells Kane he didn't talk, it's not enough for Kane, who tells one of the gang to teach Liam a lesson.
Bianca finds Liam being pushed around by the gang. When she calls out to him, one of the gang knocks Liam to the ground as they run off jeering. Rushing to Liam's side, a horrified Bianca discovers that Liam has been stabbed. Liam is rushed to hospital. Bianca begs Liam to talk to the police. Meanwhile, Ava realises Dexter is right about leaving.
Jean and Ian are competing against each other to bake Sharon's wedding cake. When there's only one bag of icing sugar left in the Minute Mart, Ian lays it on thick, saying how much winning the competition would mean to him. Jean scuppers her own chances to let Ian win, but Ian ends up with cake in his face courtesy of Denise, as he's stood her up for their lunch date!
