This enchantingly eerie series comes to its dramatic conclusion...

During this enchantingly eerie series, we’ve seen a few glimpses of Lara (Brief Encounters’ Chloe Pirrie), the mysterious lady from the present who is rarely without her ‘book of light’ (aka her iPad!). As things draw to an epic close, we at last find out more about her and her connection to Nathan… Back in Victorian times, the villagers are leaving in droves and Nathan’s relentless visions and the prospect of being a dad again have left him at breaking point. He's doing his best to drive poor Charlotte away because all he wants is to see dead son Gabriel (surely TV's creepiest child?!), but can anything bring him back from the brink? Trust us, the ending will make your jaw drop and leave you begging for a second series!
