But imagine how it must feel to be meeting your spouse for the first time as you say ‘I do’!

As this series returns, a new batch of singletons have had enough of leaving love to chance and decide to put their future romantic happiness in the hands of science and logic.

Are they brave or bonkers?

After telling their nearest and dearest the happy news that a complete stranger will be joining the family, nurse Steph and property manager Jonathan, plus office manager Verity and IT consultant Jack (pictured), agree to give married life a try despite never having met before.
