Hayley and Richard rarely eat out or holiday abroad as a family because their sons, Spencer, 13, and Lewis, nine, have Tourette’s, which means they have uncontrollable tics.

But that is about to change, as the family have decided to face the world in the hope more people will understand the syndrome.
