For Maisie, this means pretty much her whole pink palace of a bedroom is packed away.

'She can aspire to be more than a princess,' says Dr Javid as he stuffs another princess dress into the sack.

Not everyone is going to agree with him, but Dr Javid certainly makes a very convincing argument about how parents can limit their boys and girls by unconsciously buying into the pink/blue divide.
