The Brooks family do, and are upping sticks from Oban in western Scotland to start a new life in Bali, in episode three of this series about people who relocate to remote parts of the planet.

When Deborah first met Daniel, he was residing in a garden shed – which should have warned her that he was not the type to live the suburban dream.

But when the couple and their three young children – Hazel, Sebastian and Heather – arrive in Bali with no plan of action and virtually no cash to tide them over until they get established, tempers begin to fray, tears flow and their life-changing move suddenly doesn’t look quite as appealing as it did in Scotland…
