However, little do they realise that their new home has been built over an old cemetery and that restless spirits will soon be making their presence felt.

This 2015 remake of Tobe Hooper/Steven Spielberg’s classic 1982 horror movie isn’t a match for its celebrated predecessor, but it does deliver some effective tension and shocks.

The solid performances by Rockwell and DeWitt makes it easier for us to go with the flow when things turn scarily supernatural.
