Andrew Scott guest stars in Quacks this week and steals the show as a self-obsessed Charles Dickens

Sherlock star Andrew Scott stole every scene he was in as the detective's nemesis Moriarty, and he does exactly the same here with his hilarious cameo as a self-obsessed Charles Dickens.

Social campaigner Caroline thinks the author is a kindred spirit, but when he invites her to dinner and she drags along a besotted William, who has to pretend he is a huge fan, things don't go to plan and they soon realise what an absolute wally Dickens really is.

Robert has his own cross to bear in the form of self-righteous nursing volunteer Florence Nightingale (Milly Thomas), who is constantly pointing out his errors, but how can he get rid of her?
