After a rocky patch, doctors Sam and Tom’s relationship is back on track, so much so Tom asks the ex-army medic to move in with him!
At first Sam says she’ll think about it, until the arrival of new paramedic Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson) forces the issue…
It turns out Iain is an ex boyfriend from Sam’s army days, has retrained as a paramedic and joined the Holby team!
When Tom finds out, Sam insists her past with Iain is ancient history and she wants to move in with him.
Privately, however, Sam suspects her old flame wants to rekindle their romance. Will this new shock mean trouble for the couple?
Elsewhere, The Royal’s Robert Cavanah guest stars as newly released criminal Stewart. Anthony Lewis – better known as Marc Reynolds in Emmerdale – plays a married man called Joe, stabbed by Stewart! While Juliet Cowan from This Life and Pulling is single mum, Rachel, who is struggling to look after her seriously ill teenage daughter.
