If you switch on about five minutes into the episode, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’re watching The Hotel Inspector, although Alex finds no fault with the five-star Marbella Club Hotel.

But as she moves on to Jerez, she’s on less familiar ground with two of the things the city is most famous for – sherry, which she associates with grannies, and horses, which she’s afraid of.

Will she change her mind about either?
