In All-Star Netball for Sport Relief, Strictly’s Oti and Jennifer Saunders take it to court!
All-Star Netball for Sport Relief is proof that something is going on in the world of netball – celebs are jumping on the bandwagon!
And what better complement to the ongoing Netball World Cup (BBC2, 2.30pm) than a charity match sprinkled with stars in aid of Sport Relief?
The idea for the clash came from Clare Balding, who will also be on presenting duties as we watch celebs including Sarah Hadland, Sally Phillips, Denise Lewis and Katherine Grainger shooting for success.
Team captains are Jennifer Saunders and Strictly’s Oti Mabuse, so we’re expecting competition and comedy as the game unfolds.
Oti told TV Times, "I was definitely up for playing netball for such a good cause.
"But when they offered to let me be captain, it made me scream with excitement!
"I think it’s really nice to be part of something that creates awareness for women in sport.
"Plus I’m really looking forward to meeting Clare Balding – I love her, so I will be starstruck, just staring at her with my mouth open!"
And while the celebs are getting match-fit, at TV Times we’ll be racking our brains to remember the rules from our schooldays!
