Dara Ó Briain and Professor Brian Cox are back, this time bringing us an up-close view of constellations and clusters from Down Under.

With the shift in seasons and the Earth's current tilt, Australia has unprecedented views of the Milky Way, which Dara and Brian observe from the famous Siding Spring Observatory in New South Wales.

Astronomer Greg Quicke will guide us around the Outback's dark skies, while Liz Bonnin (also to be seen in Galapagos on Thursday, BBC1) embarks upon a mission to catch a shooting star.

Also, viewers will be invited to help find the missing ninth planet in the Solar System.

Don't forget to tune in tomorrow and Thursday, too.
