Jean and Millie come up with a dangerous plan to unmask the corrupt US cops in this week's The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco
Jean and Millie come up with a dangerous plan to unmask the corrupt US cops in this week's The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco
The action continues from last week’s opener in which 1950s code-breaking duo Jean (Julie Graham) and Millie (Rachael Stirling) were horrified to see Millie’s gay cousin Edward (Luke Camilleri) falsely arrested on suspicion of ‘communist’ activities.
Meanwhile, the women’s own freedom is on the line when they find that they are threatened with deportation from the United States.
As more dangerous and disturbing revelations come to light, it’s a race against time for Jean, Millie and their San Franciscan counterparts, Iris (Crystal Balint) and Hayley (Chanelle Peloso, all pictured top), to unmask the corrupt cops who have targeted Edward and who are up to their necks in dodgy drug deals.
Can they ensure that justice is done?
